Thanks for your post.  I actually have been moving more and more towards categories and tagging.  I think that *plus* manageable sized .pst files is a pretty cool solution.

Just FYI - I've recently found several key add-ins I use for Outlook that help with this and a few other tasks:

		<description>Cortney - 8k emails, you're in for quite a week.  Smaller pst files are great for data integrity, but have you given any thought to ditching folders all together and using categories?  It allows you to "tag" items so that they're easier to find and organize.
